I am following simultaneously The Artist’s Way, by Julia Cameron and Watercolor is for Everyone, by Kateri Ewing. Here are the exercises and practice paintings I completed since Sunday.

I hope you check out the referenced artists, especially if you feel the need for a boost to your creativity.

I can see some of those on fabric too. Very productive week for you. Which exercise did you enjoy most?

Good question. I think the most enjoyable was painting the angel, because a friend was dealing with a sick child and was greatly in need of prayer. After I finished painting, I texted a photo of the painting to her.

All of these look like a lot of fun. Explorations like this open us up to potentials and possibilities, which for me is always a lot of fun. Looking forward to seeing more!

I love the books of Julia Cameron. I just bought (previously I listened to the audiobook from the library) her book It’s Never Too Late to Begin Again as I want to work through the exercises on the book.
Wonderful watercolors – the dog one is very sweet!

Thanks. Well, they give me an easy way to warm up for painting something more challenging.
