Stellar weather today. The temperatures are in the mid 50s, with sunshine and no wind. It was a perfect afternoon for walking. We went to the Pathfinder, which winds its way through the floodplain along the river. I brought my Canon camera and got a few shots that could serve as reference photos for future drawings.

The trees in the foreground frame the shot.

Back home for a cup of tea with biscuits (also known as cookies to those of us who live in the States.) The number of days with gorgeous weather this year is about over.

Lovely pictures, Laura We went for a walk on Sat to Wetmore Park. You would not recognize it. There is a huge mound in the middle with a walkway. The walkway ended at that little bridge we used to use for Browning Flying Up Ceremonies. The park is now a holding basin for storm water that used to collect in the Holy Family Parking. Remember when Joy went swimming there one year when there was a flood. Yuck, dirty water!

Yes, I received both comments. I’m kinda sad about Wetmore Park. I liked playing there when I was young.

Great perspective — especially the arches of the bridge. That would make a beautiful quilt or painting.

Nature is such a good inspiration for art making… I especially like the photo of the pond. It looks so peaceful and the colors are gorgeous! 😊
